Choir Party

All three of my boys had a great time at the Choir Christmas Party.

As is often with most cold-weather gatherings, there was the ubiquitous campfire ablazing (Andrew Isaac Mitchell is standing next to fire in the photo).

Justin and Andrew eagerly awaited for their turn to choose a present--Twice, Andrew chose a present. His first gift was a bath and beauty bag--Chrystianna bailed him out and "stole" his present. Andrew was then free to choose another package. Surely the Santa bag would offer something more masculine . . . nope . . . a pink and black velvet clutch purse! Meanwhile, Cody was pleased with his Yatzee game. He was standing in the back, so he placed his bag strategically around the corner--out of sight, out of mind. When it was Justin's turn, he snagged an open gift from Scott--a kid's Transformers shaving kit! Eventually, Scott stole the kit back from him--and Justin stole the knife that had been making the rounds. Unfortunately for Justin, Miriam stole the knife from him--and that was the end of the game. After the game, the kids did some trading and Justin ended up again with the Transformers kit. Andrew still had his purse up until we made our way to the truck to go home. Miriam offered Andrew the knife for the purse as Justin (who used to have the knife--"Man!") looked on. Andrew happily made the exchange.

Music encouraged an impromptu line dance--Surprise--Cody seemed to take the lead on this one--he loves to perform but rarely in public!

Andrew Isaac Hart looks as though he bumped his nose on the lamp post!

Folks gathered inside and out for conversation and gift giving.
